Where to begin!
Food quality and taste and portion: Well, see the photo attached. We've left out most of the food other than the drinks ofcourse which thankfully they didn't prepare. We took bailey's and mixed it ourselves. I've never tasted such a sugary sweet syrupy bbq chicken. Calamari wasn't properly fried. Rice was good. Shrip was good.
Service: Serving hookah illegally by billing it as "signature food" and then charging service charge on it. I've attached the bill. Check it out. First, drinks were served. Then the main course. Then the starters. 🤣
Honestly, this is the first time I'm seeing people so callous with service. And they're charging 10% service charge. For what? For forgetting to being water when told? For being late in every delivery? For serving random dishes at any time they want?
And I can't stress the irony of putting sgst and cgst on hookah. BTW, Hookah took 40 mins to arrive. And we thought it would be some premium kind of hookah. But no. Its tastes nothing. Just nothing. Everyone around us who were smoking had negligible aroma/flavour in the air. And it costed costed 2200+ taxes. (my hookah setup, which works better than this, costs 2000 in amazon. Check it up. I would have rather bought one and carried it to the beach to smoke at that exorbitant price 😅) Fun fact is, it Tasted and smoked like your regular 500rs hookahs in the roadside, cheap, Hookah bars we used to go to when we were in college.
Environment/ambience: Also, at one point construction work was carried out and metal work was being done with hammers and tools. So instead of music we were listening to the grating sound of metal against metal.
It's frankly ridiculous. I've eaten in dhabas where the waiters had better service and sense.
I AM taking time out to write this review because I don't want anyone to take office leave and spend time and money to get this kind of service. If this is your first trip to anywhere Outside your hometown, it's a good experience. If you've had any standard restaurant food, this is mind bogglingly ridiculous.
Good point: Beach was near. So I took a fine 1hr walk at sunset while they took their own sweet time to serve. The other high point was a cute stray dog who kept...

We chose to sit near the beach to watch the evening sunset. This place has an amazing view and super spacious seating.
Things we ordered:-
Virgin Mojito and Virgin Margarita - Super refreshing drink and must-haves for people who love to chill around the beach shacks and enjoy the sunset. I loved both the mocktails :)
Fritto Misto “Seafood” - This Italian Delicacy is a must-have. It is basically batter-fried (all-purpose flour) seafood like salmon, calamari, shrimps, etc. This is tossed with fresh parsley and served with crispy potato wedges. I loved the wedges to the core. Every seafood lover should have this. Slightly pricey and the portion is less but worth a try!
Crumb Fried Chicken - These taste too good. The mash potato and pickled carrots with stir-fried veggies adds the perfect balance to this dish. I personally love crispy chicken dishes and this one was worth it.
Pesto Prawns Pasta - Cheese lovers this dish is a must especially with prawns. Although the number of prawns was less in the dish.
Slow Roasted Chicken & Bell Peppers Pizza - This was a super hit pizza. If you love pizza, make sure to try this variant. It is a thin-crust pizza with a great number of toppings.
Choco Lava Cake - Omg! I've never had such huge Choco lava cake 😭 this was so so good. I had it all alone #guiltypleasures 😂
Upon asking the staff informed their falafel platter, all tandoor dishes, lamb adana kebab, cheesecake are must try or most loved dishes from their menu!
Food - 5/5 Service - 4/5 Ambiance - 5/5
The service was little slow but I don't mind visiting the place again for some good food. Overall, the experience was great. If you stay in nearby resorts or happen to visit the beach they even have a tap near the shack so one can have a bath and sit in the restaurant for food. They serve Italian, European, Continental, and North...
Read moreThis was my third visit to Tomatos, Morjim. I always loved the atmosphere and vibes here even though the overall restaurant is super expensive...!
This visit was a sheer disappointment...! I went to this place, along with my family and 2 other families. It was my recommendation but disappointment for every one.
We suggested that we would prefer the Beachside tables but we were denied with some rubbish reasons like it could cause delay to provide a table and all... Then we accepted to settle on just little inside table. The DJ speaker was right close to us and the loud music was unbearable.
In such a polished restaurant, we had to bear a company of number of flies... They were everywhere... On our bodies, on the food dishes, our Drinks- tasting them before we could and kissing us on overall body...
Number of times, We requested the available staff, to provide us the remedy. Few of them tried with shifting big floor stand fan pointing towards us but in no vain. Finally, one of the staff said - WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING ELSE...!!! Was such a RUDE answer...
When it came to paying of the Bill, we were charged something called, in a Glorious Name of -, STAFF CONTRIBUTION... It was not a small amount. 10% of overall of your Bill Value.
It seems Restaurant Management is so poor and not making enough profits (even after over priced Food and Drinks) they are trying to pull out extra money from customers to pay their staff...!!! Great Work...!!! Great Loot...!!!
When I approached the Cashier and inquired if paying the STAFF CONTRIBUTION was mandatory? He grudgingly replied that it wasn't and handed over me a cash refund of a significant portion of the money, as I had already paid the amount through card and after payment noted the fact of STAFG...
